The location is strategic within walking distance to Grand Dan Plaza Indonesia, a great place to stay if you’re backpacking and the staff is helpful. However, the traffic is kind of heavy and you need to beware when crossing the busy road. The lighting in the room is so dim, and I don’t prefer the breakfast because they only have a few food selections and they don’t even provide breakfast cereal; the bread only has one option. The lift keeps getting out of operation.

The hotel sits directly above the Thamrin City shopping centre and is only a 4‑minute walk to Grand Indonesia Mall, which is great for shopping. The room, however, was not clean enough for my liking.
