I stayed here during the green (rainy) season and loved the peace and quiet of the Sok San village at that time of year. The guys at the bungalow were great; I felt more than welcome. The food at the bar was also great. Plus they have a wonderful dog and a cat. ☺️

The staff and the community there are so lovely! We loved the owners’ dog! She was our favourite part of our trip <3 The family that owns the place even welcomed us to dinner one evening and made my birthday feel so comfortable! If I come back to Koh Rong I’d be staying here! Nothing negative.

The staff were really lovely and accommodating, and the small on‑site restaurant was nice. Great toasties and free bottled water for guests to use anytime was a nice touch. They let us check in early and helped with our bags and room. The huts’ infrastructure is very basic with no hot water. The door and flooring have gaps that open to the jungle floor and outside, so there were many bugs and mosquitoes. There is a mosquito net, but it had holes, so we got bitten a lot. The AC above the bed dripped water onto our faces during the night. There was no duvet or sheet, just a blanket, which was hard to share as a couple. Also only one of the lights worked on the property.

The location right on the sea is truly exceptional and makes the bungalows especially appealing, and restaurants nearby are quick and easy to reach; the owners were also very friendly and relaxed, and the on‑site food selection is of good quality. However, the construction quality and workmanship do not match the price level – many things look more like DIY projects. There were practical defects, such as a fridge without a suitable power outlet in the intended spot, and the water supply was at times limited, even without power outages caused by thunderstorms, so showers and washing were not always possible.
