The staff were extremely friendly and the location is fantastic; free bottled water lets you save money, and they promptly change dirty sheets with great care. The night outside is noisy, so if you’re a light sleeper, earplugs are a good idea.

The place sits right near the city center and historic spots, the room was quite clean, and the staff were very courteous throughout.

“Great value, good location and a nice social atmosphere.”

Overall a solid hostel. The spot is super convenient, walking to almost anywhere in town, the rooms were tidy, and the facilities were exactly what you’d expect; the common areas and café fostered a pleasant social vibe, plus you get good value for the price. It would help if the beds had privacy curtains or blinds, as many other hostels do, and the entrance was a bit hard to locate at first.

“An hostel that feels like an hotel”

The comfort of this place is outstanding: big bedrooms with well-separated beds, towels and AC, a great coffee/common room that is especially well suited for remote work. Moreover, everything is very clean, and the decoration is modern and cozy. It really feels like a good hotel! You will particularly like it if you are working remotely and are looking for a quiet and comfortable place. However, note that it's not a "social" hostel. Interactions were very minimal. This is not a “social” hostel. When I was there, everyone was doing their own business and interactions were minimal. The staff were just doing their job. No special connections were created. Just like in a hotel. But if you’re simply looking for a comfortable place to sleep, chill, or work, go for it without hesitation!

Merkeze is about a 10‑minute walk away. The cleanliness was good. It would have been nice if the room also had a mini fridge and a kettle for boiling water.
