The house’s careful restoration is a delight in every detail. The rooms are very cozy, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. Thomas and Rosa are the owners and the minds behind the restoration project from start to finish—part of their life project. It’s a pleasure to learn their story.

The owners’ friendliness, location, cleanliness, breakfast… I would appreciate more light in the room.

A fantastic spot to unwind away from the hustle, surrounded by nature. Thomas and Rosa were charming and very friendly hosts. The pazo sits next to Maceda, so you can walk to the village. Honestly, it was exactly what I expected; nothing bothered us.

Rosa and Tomas turned this beautiful pazo outside Maceda into a miracle, restoring the buildings—including a private chapel—and opening their sprawling gardens to guests. Pear trees and hazelnuts line the back, and you can just step out, bend down, and savor everything. The dining area feels like a banquet of fresh fruit available day and night. Tomas guided us to the stunning Mino River, the nearby monasteries, and even the laundromat in Maceda. We can only hope to return someday, standing in the back garden with a fresh pear, watching the crescent moon rise and the first star appear.
