The Ellan Vannin Hotel is a seaside hotel situated on Douglas Bay, overlooking Douglas Beach. It is a 1-minute walk from the beach and within a 5-minute walk of the ferry terminal and bus station. Main shops, cafes, and restaurants are 2 minutes away. The hotel features modern bedrooms with flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, work desks, and en suite bathrooms with toiletries and hairdryers.

The staff were unhelpful, especially about parking; they knew very little, so we had to figure everything out ourselves. The place felt unfriendly, and nobody actually spoke to us.

The location on Douglas sea front was very good, the bed was comfortable, and the lounge area was nice, but there was no view beyond a plain wall, parking was difficult because of restrictions, the breakfast cost £19 each daily which is outrageous, and there was noise from deliveries at night.

Excellent location on the seafront in Douglas very close to the ferry port. All shops and facilities within easy walking distance. The bed was comfortable for me.kettle in the room. Fair amount of storage space. I had a budget room during Manx TT week which was still £200 a night. 52 steps to the top floor. No external fire escape. Air conditioning units on the roof start at around 640am. The shower temperature has a mind of its own
