The place was clean, private, and easy to reach from the lakes. Hot water was almost nonexistent due to a supply problem, so we were told to use the toilet block even though we’d paid for luxury. The toilet block was poorly designed – you end up in a tiny shower that dribbles, the lights cut out, and the push‑button shower only runs for about a minute. Kitchen options were lacking; just a microwave and a kettle weren’t enough. The suggestion to cook on the BBQ didn’t work. Everything seemed designed for two people, with only two cups, two glasses, and a log burner that needed a few sticks and extra cost for more. Outdoor path lighting was missing, making it hard to find the toilet block in the dark. The toilet itself had a problem – no breather pipe, it sucked air and drained the water trap. Fishing was poor, with only a few small carp.
