Chaka's Rock Beach Chalet 38

This accommodation is not available. We arrived only to find keys do not work and when contacting the owner he told us the property was sold and they would not be accommodating us. This left us in a terrible position with no accommodation and we had to then go for a place at a much higher rate We booked this week's in advance only to be told when we arrived it was not available. “Disappointing and cost for not stay.”

I never actually stayed there because they gave the unit to someone else who booked a longer stay. They told me to cancel on the platform and that a refund would be processed, but it hasn’t happened yet. I’m still waiting for the money back, even though the letting agent double‑booked after I paid.

We arrived at the hotel around 16:00 and called the owner, who said he wasn’t expecting us and that another family was leaving the next day. He promised to fix the issue, but after a frustrating AI call center, he called back admitting his mistake and that everything was sorted. We still had to wait several hours for the room to be cleaned.

“May I have my money back please R1 500 something.”

I didn’t like anything because I didn’t sleep there. I made a booking . They confirmed my stay there but when I arrived they said they are fully booked. I was stranded with my kids the time was around 23:00pm😭. May I have my money back please. Nothing

“A relaxing stay”

I had an amazing stay at this unit, thanks to the incredible owner Sipho. The space was huge, super comfy, and spotless, making it feel like home. Sipho was super accommodating and made sure I had everything I needed. I'd definitely come back here again.
