The location, cleanliness, and tranquility were great, but there is a construction site right next to the building.

“Absolutamente horrendo”

The only thing I liked was the accommodation itself; everything else was terrible. I had no expectations since it was a hostel, but the price difference compared to other nearby hotels didn’t justify it. The bathroom had leftover cleaning product in the toilet, which shows a lack of thorough cleaning. It was too small, lacked a bath mat, and the shower gel and shampoo were very scarce. The room was tiny, couldn’t fit open luggage, the pillow was as thin as cigarette paper, and worst of all, it was at least six degrees cold with no heating, so we were very chilly. The breakfast was absolutely horrible. I’m celiac, I called and they didn’t care to find out, telling me they had no options; they only offered bread with butter and jam and pastries, and if you can’t eat gluten, at least a piece of fruit. Finally, the taxi driver mentioned that if the hostel gets full, they sometimes send guests to a place three kilometres away at La Granja. It didn’t happen to us, but I wanted to warn anyone considering a reservation.
