The location was excellent, just 2 minutes to the train and bus stations and 5 minutes to the center, directly under the room there’s a street with restaurants and bars. At booking I had a vague idea that the Circumvesuviana also stopped at this train station, which is not the case, but from the Pompei Scavi–Villa dei Misteri station it’s 20 minutes on foot and there’s also a direct bus, so the connection is still good. The room was really large and the bed super comfortable.
The bed was sagging.
“Pompei”
The room was very large.
“Wonderful surprise”
The room was gorgeous, cozy, and spotless, and its location right in front of the train station yet close to Pompeii was a real bonus. The downstairs restaurant, Giulia’s, was outstanding, and the host was incredibly kind and helpful. I loved it so much that I chose to stay an extra night instead of heading straight to my next stop, and I’ll definitely book there again. The price is a bargain for such a lovely room—I’d happily pay double. The street is noisy, as expected for the spot, but a drink downstairs usually smooths it out.
“Nettes Zimmer in guter Lage”
The room was spacious and comfortable, and the fantastic restaurant ‘Giulia’s’—through which you access the rooms—was a highlight. I don’t really like it when the hosts never appear; a greeting would be nice.
