“Would stay again”
The tatami floor beds, tea sitting area and outdoor sitting area were nice. The shared shower was a little unclean; you can see some water damage.

Location, the treatment by the owners and the comfort of the room were great. Nothing to complain about.

The room was lovely. It’s central but quiet. The hot duvets were a bit of a downside, but otherwise the bed was very cozy.

The location is very good, at the start of the main onsen street and close to the train station. The building is a cute old Japanese house that I like; it’s not too fancy but everything works and feels like another place and time compared to my usual living. I love the down duvets on the futons! The hostess speaks only Japanese, but that added charm and we were able to communicate well with gestures. The price was very reasonable. The only downside is that this ryokan doesn’t offer a local dinner or anything like that; it’s just accommodation.

Traditional Japanese architecture, a clean, tidy and bright environment. They give a QR code for free access to all the hot springs. The owner is friendly, and you can leave luggage in advance and after checkout. Because it’s a traditional Japanese building, the sound insulation is poor, but if you want to experience a home‑like traditional Japanese atmosphere, it’s worth checking out.
