“We had a wonderful time- and the staff was great!”

The room was comfy, the staff friendly, and everything felt inviting. The outdoor patio of our room needed tidying; because it’s on the lake the outer door and windows had a lot of bugs that needed to be swept away. I know it’s on the lake and during the evenings it gets hard to control, but it didn’t look like it had been done in a while. Still, we saw how clean they kept EVERYTHING on the patios, restaurant and lower levels.

“Happy to revisit the beach where we stayed 42 years ago in the former rustic cabins.”

We could get to the beach easily, and the grill meal was excellent; we appreciated the thoughtful bottle of wine waiting for our 50th anniversary. However, the “Resort Parking” sign didn’t indicate where the office was, so after arriving from the east and parking, we had to search for the check‑in spot. A small sign at the parking entrance would have avoided that confusion.

“Overall I would definately come stay here again - it was perfect for our girls weekend.”

We skipped breakfast, but the meals we did have were fantastic! The wait staff at the dining area and beachfront, plus the bartender who handled our pull tabs, were all super friendly. The pool area was a highlight. Our cabin looked lovely, yet I noticed a few dust balls and hair under the couch and dining table. We also had to call a couple of times to get wood delivered for the fire pit.

“On a business trip had a nice stay at this property.”

The property is beautiful right on Gull Lake. The bathroom lighting in the room wasn’t bright enough, but otherwise the room was good.
