“Not my favorite”
The spot's in a good area and won't break the bank, but the staff didn't exactly make me feel welcome. The kitchen could use a deep clean, and there was a mosquito problem that made it hard to sleep.

The host lady was friendly, but her son was a bit rude. The surroundings were nice, but Puerto Jimenez itself didn't offer much.

This place is gorgeous, full of parrots, duka, raccoons, and a bunch of other critters. Plenty of plants and shady nooks to chill. The owner and her son were super friendly and helpful. There's a big kitchen you can use and seating all around. Our room was small and basic, but it had AC and hot water. We loved it so much we stayed longer and would definitely recommend it.

The garden was lovely and the owner even kept my passport safe, but the room was a nightmare. I found sand on the pillows and in the bed, which made me feel sick, headache, cough, and tight breathing. I asked for a clean room and a refund, but the staff blamed allergies and didn't help. The breakfast hours listed on the website didn't match what was actually served.

Monkeys and birds were a highlight, and the owners were friendly.
