A nice spot, and we received a voucher to use at the neighborhood pastry shop, where we enjoyed a croissant and coffee. The building itself is very old and not well maintained.

The beds were narrow and uncomfortable, and there was no elevator.

We saw no one, but that’s fine. We booked two rooms. The space we rented had three rooms. Our reservation specified a triple room and a double room (2 beds or 1 double bed). Among the three rooms, there was a triple room, a double room with 2 beds, and a double room with 1 large bed. We asked the host if we could take the 1 large bed room instead of the 2 small beds, and she said yes but with an extra €90. So we didn’t use the other room. In the morning we left without paying the tourist tax because we didn’t know the amount or where to leave the money, and we didn’t even know we were supposed to leave the tourist tax on site. Shortly after our early departure, we received an aggressive message from the host, saying she was angry because we hadn’t left the money and that we had used the other room without paying. That’s not true; we never used the other room. According to her, we had to redo the bed and clean it. How could that be when no one used it? For your information, we didn’t use it because the mold smell was too strong to sleep in. It’s been 15 years since I’ve used Booking, I’ve never left a review, but here I am because you asked. Also, the dishes from previous guests were still dirty, the trash wasn’t taken out. The host’s behavior and the cleanliness of the rooms were unacceptable.
