We had such a Great time in tomo. Our guide Gareth and James were definitely amazing. It was Great to be guided by such passionate people and feeling that they were as exited as we were with finding animals. We got to see the big 5 and more. Food was great and everyone was so welcoming. Gym had a few things that could have an update, and not many plugs at the room. This would be our only comment but really not an issue

The game drives were incredible, with Gareth and James proving to be the best driver/tracker duo we met on all our South African safaris. The room was extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated. However, the food fell far short of what one would expect from a lodge of this caliber; dietary requests were treated like a joke, and the meals tasted like something straight out of a Mugg & Bean display fridge at a service station. Our waiter was unprofessional, messed up most orders, and wore a filthy, unwashed uniform. We tried to book a hot air balloon ride, a photography course, and a photo shoot advertised on the website, but the office manager, Siobhan, seemed uninterested and claimed the activities were unavailable, though she did book a bush walk for us. We ended up arranging our own balloon flight. On departure, we completed a departure survey, but after two months no one has responded; it feels like the survey was discarded. Overall, it was a very disappointing trip.

It felt like a dream – the hotel is ideal for anyone wanting a safari experience, with gorgeous facilities, spacious wonderful rooms, and flawless all‑inclusive meals that are both delicious and varied. The staff were incredible, always helpful and friendly, and the game drives were so enjoyable that three hours flew by. We didn’t spot the BIG 5, even though guide Jason tried hard, but the safari vibe went far beyond that; sipping Amarula coffee on the savanna at sunrise was unforgettable. Just note there’s no TV, which fits the concept, and all drives and meals run on a strict schedule. We’d return without hesitation.

The environment was cozy and pleasant. We were treated very well, and the meals were delicious—totally worth it! I liked everything.
