The area was nice and the location convenient, but the front desk staff were not very friendly. The rooms were tiny, the towels looked dirty and the room itself felt uninviting.

“Owner staff were the worst I have met at any Rodeway Inn.”

Not a lot !. Well, I've been to hundreds of motels in the USA and many of them were Rodeway Inns. This one has to take the biscuit for being the worst ! The owner / manageress was hostile from the start. At the first breakfast she went well over the top, having a go at me as I used the wrong cup to fill the waffle maker. The following morning I turned up for breakfast at 6.15am ( Breakfast from 6am advertised ) Hardly anything was ready including the waffle mixture. I enquired to the owner manageress about it's availability. She blew up saying breakfast was "from 6am" I said well if you mean available from 6.30, say 6.30, don't say 6 am. She then said I hadn't booked with breakfast. I checked my booking and I had booked with breakfast. No apology was received from her. All over the reception areas there are notices telling you of various financial penalties you could be subject to. On our later stops I mentioned this at other motels and I learned that the Rodeway Inn at Winslow had a very poor, recent reputation. I have always enjoyed staying at various Rodeway Inns, but this is the worst ever. Rodeway need to terminate the contract at this location before it does more damage to their reputation as a brand

The service was good, but they quoted a single price of 15.00 for a small dog, and the total bill ended up over 85.00, which was too much.
