The hotel is well kept, as is the rest of the complex, giving that sense of peace and calm you look for when going to a spa. The thermal galleries in the basement are spectacular, especially when you compare the old photos of the hotel with the present. The bed in the room is very comfortable. The room’s climate control works very well. The TV is so far from the bed and is small. It’s uncomfortable to watch. The river is barely visible because the amount of vegetation completely hides it. A pity because it would be amazing to wake up and see the clean, well‑maintained riverbank right in front of you.

Breakfast was fine, a bit crowded and the hot selection isn’t great but it’s basically OK. Room was fine, no probs. Location – a bit far to walk (for me) to the Spa. Also NO spa tickets were included with this booking so we had to buy them. Usually with other providers (this was with ) something is included. Bit ridiculous really and we paid a lot for a basic room.
