I asked a neighbour and learned that the back building seemed to belong to the owner. During my stay I kept sneezing, probably an allergy, so I had to buy allergy medicine. The cause was unclear, maybe the trees in the forest.

It was quiet, and the water from the Fuji well was said to be high‑quality, making the bath very pleasant; my wife was thrilled that her hair felt silky. The caretaker didn’t speak Japanese, so we relied on a translation app, but his effort to communicate was clear. The value for money was good, and I’d stay again if the chance comes.

“スタッフ対応がNG”

The location was great, but the staff's lack of Japanese language skills made check-in a nightmare. To make matters worse, the bed was ridiculously hard, and the room was freezing cold. They even had to bring in a portable heater and some extra lights to make it livable. Needless to say, I wouldn't stay here again.

“まぁまぁの宿泊だった”

The room was spotless, which was a big plus. However, the staff didn't speak any Japanese, and the parking and facilities could use some serious renovation.

The biggest problem I had was the shower taking an eternity to get hot - it was really frustrating. Otherwise, the place was fine, but that one issue made my stay pretty uncomfortable.
