The room was absolutely lovely and much bigger than it appeared online. The couple running the place were very kind. A portable fan would be nice, though there’s a decent ceiling fan. I’m just a warm sleeper.

The location is good for the town centre. The place is clean and comfortable, perfectly adequate for my one‑night stay. The facilities list included WiFi, but I couldn’t find any access details in the room, though I didn’t bother to go downstairs to ask.

I slept well on the clean, comfy bed, but the host didn’t care that the wifi was down, the room had a drain smell, parking was tight and hard to find, and the hosts seemed more interested in watching TV than fixing my issue.

The property was charming.

There was no ventilation in the room or the bathroom, and the lack of airflow in the bathroom made the whole place stink badly; the bathroom smell was especially bad.
