“Loved it”
The campus setting was gorgeous, especially in midsummer, but because the booking was private, arranging activities for the kids turned out to be difficult.
“Friend and family time”
The view of the sea was great.
“Always read the small print!”
Location was good. We booked a 2 night stay last minute as we needed accommodation in the area to support ill family. We thought we would pay a bit extra for somewhere with facilities, especially a pool. I will openly admit that I did not read the small print where it explains the pool facilities are subject to extra charge as this is a private caravan on a Haven site. As it turns out I still wasn't able to use the facilities because you are not able to buy a Play Pass for a 2 night stay, the minimum is 3 nights. This was not explained in the small print and there was absolutely no information in the caravan. This was disappointing. To add injury to insult, after not being able to use the facilities and shelling out nearly £400 for 2 nights in a caravan, I received a message from the vendor asking us to strip the beds before we left to help them out!
We just finished a fantastic stay: the park exceeded our expectations in size, the caravan was in a quiet spot away from the busy road, the sea view was stunning, the beds were comfy, everything was clean and organized, and the owner kept in touch perfectly—no complaints at all.
Fantastic location, caravan was extremely clean. Spent the weekend here as attending Lewis Capaldi concert at Powderham castle.such good value for money compared to staying in a hotel in area. What was booked as a cheap stay in the area for myself and daughter turned into a rare quality family weekend break for 6 of us.Including 2 very happy teenagers. We enjoyed this break so much we are looking to go back for a week next year with wider family. Nothing
