The staff were all excellent, the food was very good, and the room was clean, well-appointed, and stocked with plenty of towels; the hotel is a bit tucked away, but that doesn’t affect the great service.

I was 6'2" and the bed felt a touch cramped, but otherwise the hotel was comfy, offered good value, and the cooked breakfast was included; the staff were very friendly.

Ideal location not far off the M1 but surprisingly quiet. Cracking pub with rooms above. Food and staff were great, made to feel at home, which is what you want when travelling alone for work
