I got to the place on Saturday the 4th of July at 15h20, but nobody was at the front desk. I stayed until 16h00 and then drove to Palapye to find another spot because I couldn't reach the owners—no local mobile signal.

The room was private, spotless, and had fresh linens, and the aircon worked, which was great for a winter visit. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, the distance from town makes commuting tough, and the cellphone network is a major issue. The property has a lot of potential; a bit of renovation, especially in the landscaping to soften the desert feel, would help. The rooms are perfect, but adding a microwave and an iron would be superb.

The room was spacious and the braai area was good. The cellphone network was a bit weak, and there was no microwave in the room.

The room was nicely furnished. There was no hot water in the morning, but the geyser was fixed around 10 am, though we didn’t shower then.
