The room was quiet in this family‑style hotel on the village outskirts, with great views and a balcony that opens onto a shared terrace; across the road you find a restaurant and a shop, and the tourist spots are a 10‑15‑minute walk away. Everything stayed clean and well maintained, though the fridge and washing machine are communal. Breakfasts were tasty but simple and cold, and there’s a microwave.

We absolutely loved this spot! The big beds and fresh, clean sheets were ideal for recharging after hiking, and the buffet steered clear of the generic fare you find elsewhere. The hotel offers several terraces where you can relax and take in the scenery. Overall, it was probably the best value‑for‑money place we stayed at during our two‑week Georgia tour. The downside: a slip‑up can flood the bathroom, filling the whole room with water. The kids were noisy, laughing loudly past midnight—seems they’re the owners’ children.
