The place sits right in the middle of the jungle, with plenty of cozy corners to unwind. The food is delicious and offers good value for money. They provide activities like tubing (they take photos with a GoPro), a cacao tour, and horseback rides. They also have nighttime events, which is great for meeting people from different nationalities. They do charge a 6% commission for card payments, and they don’t allow outside food because it can attract bugs into the rooms, so keep that in mind if you’re arriving from another destination.

The location is nice. The sheets smell damp and the access is very difficult.

The atmosphere is lovely and the spaces are very varied, from hammocks and pools to lounge areas with benches. We had a room for three by the pool and could see iguanas on the corrugated roofs and a beautiful orange bird in the morning… The dorm area is also great, clean and well thought out, with toilets that offer a full view of the jungle; you can open the curtain to enjoy the scenery. I love the idea.
