The mixed‑bath was huge. The ping‑pong table cost an extra ¥500.

Niseko Grand Hotel sits five minutes from Niseko Annupuri Ski Resort, offering Japanese‑style and Western‑style rooms with flat‑screen TVs and refrigerators. The 2017 renovation unveiled natural hot spring baths, including one of the largest open‑air onsens in Niseko Kombu, with mixed‑gender and women‑only options. Complimentary Wi‑Fi, on‑site parking, and a shuttle to JR Niseko Station enhance convenience.

Breakfast and meals were fine. The amenities (washing machine, bike space in the room, parking, etc.) were good. The hotel’s age was a drawback.

The hot spring feels amazing, the food is tasty, and although the hotel itself is old, the rooms have been renovated and are very comfortable… the price is surprisingly low! The building’s exterior looks old, but that’s not a problem.

The room was really spacious, updated, and had a nice counter for eating or using a PC. The bathroom was good but only had a shower—no bathtub, since the onsen is the highlight of the stay. The onsen itself was huge, offering two types of baths plus an outdoor bath, and a mixed M/F bath with attire provided by the hotel. We didn’t book dinner or breakfast when we made our reservation, so we were left without meals and the nearest convenience store offered very few real food items, mostly snacks. There are a few restaurants nearby, but if you’re exhausted after a long day, make sure to grab something for dinner before you arrive.

We were glad to soak in the mixed‑gender open‑air bath with our family. The bath is very large, so we could keep a good distance from other guests and relax at our own pace.
