The small courtyard with breakfast was nice. We received a free upgrade to three rooms and a balcony. The hotel sits in an old part of Leipzig in an ancient building that has been renovated. There are no parking spots within 1 km, so it’s impossible for severely disabled guests. There’s no restaurant. The elevator is 0.5 m², causing claustrophobia.

Good morning. We were very impressed by the friendliness and quick service at breakfast. Everything was handled to our satisfaction. Breakfast was very abundant and varied. The wellness area with the pool was good. The ventilation needs to be set differently to avoid drafts. We would have liked dry towels and dishcloths available in the apartment.

The elevator was excellent, and the breakfast matched our taste perfectly—always fresh and more than enough. The coffee machine was a friend, quickly treating us to a pleasantly fragrant, indulgent aroma right at the start of the day. The women were always capable and helpful, and the reception manager assisted us with booking not only the zoo visit but also the use of public transport, so we never needed to use our car. On the downside, our two‑bedroom apartment made it hard to watch TV before bed because the FB was either dead (battery) or the contacts wouldn’t connect, but it wasn’t a huge issue; I used my book instead.

The room was clean, the staff tried hard. The breakfast buffet was good and plentiful. There are no free parking spots and no drop‑off zone in front of the hotel. The hotel’s parking is about 300 m away and you have to stop on the street (the tram also stops there and the sides are fully parked) to open or close the gate. The hotel interior is much nicer than it looks from the outside. Breakfast starts at 8 am (annoying if you want to be at the zoo at 9 am). There were no makeup towels in the bathroom. The duvet was too heavy and warm (outside temperature was over 20 °C at night) and it was noisy because it’s right in a residential area. The “swimming pool” was very small (much smaller than on the website) and the “whirlpool corner” only had two small jets at the back. There was no way to relax there and the shower was fully visible, including camera surveillance! That’s why we only stayed there for half an hour, even though we paid an extra 5 € per person. The area around the hotel is very old‑fashioned and besides kebab shops, nothing happens at night.
