The welcome was warm and caring, I felt at home, the little pool was lovely, breakfasts were excellent and plentiful, I recommend it.

The tiny hotel is perfectly located, the garden with the pool is cute (we were pleasantly surprised!), the staff are friendly (though their English isn’t great). The bathroom had been renovated, which was a nice surprise! Breakfast was excellent. The mosque right behind the bungalow wakes you at 4:30 am, but in Java you get used to it!

The location is superb, surrounded by a major commercial street and tourist area (don’t underestimate this for safety and experience). The price is reasonable. Breakfast is made fresh every day; there are only five or six options, but they’re fresh and tasty. I love the orange juice. Most importantly, it’s quiet. The outdoor noise doesn’t seep into the courtyard. The furniture could be rearranged to make better use of the indoor space.
