“Ideal”
It was an ideal spot to unwind, though the access road was not very convenient.

The best thing was the staff service and the design of the bungalows and common areas. The single‑story bungalows offered great privacy. I might have added a mosquito net to the brick lattice; I understand the natural concept and love it, but I would feel more comfortable knowing that certain bugs couldn’t get in so easily.

Every bungalow had plenty of space around it for a feeling of seclusion and privacy. The design is very satisfying and the room is comfortable. We especially enjoyed sleeping with the door open to hear the waves and the fireflies outside. The staff were all very attentive and friendly. We stayed during the hot months and only had fans, which was manageable most of the time. Otherwise we were in the pool.

A beautiful, quiet sanctuary in a stunning location, but it’s best if you’re willing to walk (and climb) to the beach. The rooms are very comfortable and well designed. The food and restaurant are superb. The bar at the top gives amazing views, and there’s a second, secluded pool for relaxing and swimming. Truly a stunning place! The downside is that it’s a bit removed from the restaurants and beach life in Mazunte; many will appreciate that, some won’t.
