The room was modern and comfortable. Nobody spoke English at the hotel, making the transfer request or paying with cash a chaotic experience. I can’t understand how anyone has minimal English skills. The room also lacks a fridge, which I consider essential.

Facilities and location were good, but the staff were not.

The location, staff, huge TV, and room atmosphere were positive, but city noise was a problem; I got a quieter room perpendicular to the street, yet it was still hard to sleep with the traffic and the loud horns of Xi’an, though at least I had earplugs.
