The beach faced the front of the property, and the street was lined with plenty of shops and restaurants, but there was no elevator, which was fine for me.

The hosts were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent! Nothing else to complain about.

As soon as I entered the room I could smell a strong urine odor, which was quite unpleasant, but the child loved the slide and ball pit, so we didn’t ask for a different room. The host, seeing we were only a single child, said, “So you’re so slow, only one child?” He probably meant it as a joke to be friendly, but for guests who had just experienced a miscarriage and were coming to Nanwan to relax, that comment was quite offensive. He later repeated the line a few more times, suggesting we should have another child, and we felt quite embarrassed, yet he seemed oblivious. As an adult in the service industry, he should have been more mindful.

The owner was friendly and the breakfast pancakes were delicious 😋. The only downside was a bit of ant activity; otherwise, it was clean and comfortable 😃.

The location is great—directly opposite the beach area, so after playing you can walk straight back to the accommodation for a quick wash, and Kenting Street or the town center is not too far. The staff are friendly, respond quickly, and the hot water doesn’t take long. The cleanliness issues that a few reviewers mentioned are still present: when I entered the room I noticed hair on the decorative figurines, a slight stain on the bedding near the vanity, and ants in the room. The housekeeping could improve; even though the linens are regularly washed, visible stains are off-putting, and the presence of insects suggests a need for better pest control. Other issues were minor, and overall it was still decent.
