The inner garden felt like a jungle oasis, surprisingly tranquil right behind a busy road, and it was beautifully laid out. However, maintenance fell short afterward: the pool tiles were broken, the deck chairs were rotten and we had to push through them, the stairs and little hut needed work, and the outdoor bathroom was a nightmare with insects and salamanders—make sure the toilet lid stays closed! The room itself was cramped, making it hard to store luggage, and being tall, I hit my head on almost everything.

The jungle setting, relaxed atmosphere, and the staff who made everything perfect were amazing. I just wish I could have stayed longer.

The place is a true jungle paradise. The hosts are super friendly and special, thank you! We loved the outdoor bathroom—it was lovely, though you’ll see ants both there and in the room, which is normal for an outdoor bathroom. The breakfast was very good and varied, and the on‑site restaurant served great food and drinks. I highly recommend the massage—it’s exceptional! We felt very safe, with night security and the ability to check in at night. A big plus is the small, intimate setting with a private terrace and no crowds. We could reach Ubud center or other spots by scooter. Daily offerings were appreciated, thank you! It was the best time, an oasis of nature and peace. A room redesign would help, and the pool wasn’t that clean—maybe the view is the priority. Also, put a mirror above the sink.
