The hotel is charming, just a short walk from Domkirke. My room on the fifth floor offered views of the sea, snowy mountains, and a bridge leading to the other side of town. It was small but well-heated, especially the bathroom, which had pleasant underfloor heating. The bed was moderately comfortable, and breakfast was excellent with many savory and sweet options. Unfortunately, after four days there were no changes, so it became a bit repetitive if you stay long. Still, the salmon and jams were very good. In the afternoon, a snack station with waffles, brown cheese, and jam was provided, and hot drinks were always available. The reception girls were very kind. I had a good stay. The room was a bit small, and there was no place to leave an open trolley except on the floor. Cleaning wasn’t daily, and my room was only redecorated on the second day. That wasn’t an issue for me since I usually stay in the room briefly.
