“Una notte a Cefalù 😍”
Posizione 🔝 vista retro cattedrale e praticamente in centro !!! Dario superdisponibile 👍.
I was assigned a room on the third and top floor, giving me a direct view of the cathedral. It’s close to the center, just a 3‑minute walk, so it’s great for peace and quiet. The room was clean and tidy, had a kitchen and a coffee machine, and there was a spot to leave luggage before and after check‑in.
The location is perfect for exploring Cefalù. I also liked that we could drop off our suitcases on the day of departure to wander around the village. Communication with the owner was good. I think €106 is too pricey for this small room. Entry was through a dark lounge/kitchen with a loose laminate floor that almost made you trip. The kitchen lacks a kettle, so you have to boil water in a pot for tea. There’s plastic cutlery and no plate. The room looked less nice than the photo, and the AC seemed to leak water—there were water stains on the wall. The lounge also showed some overdue maintenance.
“Una bella vista in centro”
The building in the center is very convenient. The room is cozy and the view is beautiful. I really appreciate the potable water tap, which is essential in Sicily. I would just fix the shower head.
“No repetiría una estancia en ese lugar”
The location is good. The entrance lounge has a floor in bad condition. The stairs are dangerous for older people and make it hard to bring luggage up—only a backpack works. The room is the size of a piggy bank and looked old. The bathroom is tiny; the shower is uncomfortable and everything is rusty; the sink is outside the bathroom area, right next to the bed. I couldn’t change the air‑conditioner temperature, so the heat was terrible.
