We stayed as a group of four and I appreciated being given a ground‑floor room because I use a walking stick; however, in the large bath another guest slipped the slippers my daughter and I had brought into the changing room and left them there, which I found unsettling (they seemed Japanese), and the wallpaper in the changing area looked like it had some mold, which was disappointing, though that wasn’t the hotel’s fault.

The food here is absolutely amazing, and the onsen (hot spring bath) is a real treat. However, the building's design is a bit of a letdown - the entrance is basically an open window on the second floor, which isn't exactly secure.

The breakfast spread is incredibly rich and delicious, and the rooms are spacious and super comfortable. I was thoroughly impressed with the hotel's amenities.
