The staff were friendly and the instructions clear, and the bathrooms and kitchen were well stocked. The nearby village Onsen was free to visit thanks to the coupons the hotel handed out, and parking was complimentary. If you’re sensitive to sound, the walls are a bit thin, so earplugs might help, but otherwise it’s fine.

The rooms felt clean, with bath towels and face towels provided, and the onsen tickets were a nice bonus. The staff were kind, and the futons were tidy. The property is a converted house, so there’s no soundproofing; after 22:00 we were told to keep quiet, yet the mixed‑gender dormitory next door was loud until midnight, with voices that kept us awake. The dorm was a bit annoying, and the front desk could have reminded us to be quiet. It would be better if the dorms were gender‑separated at the same price, or if families could book a family room. The noise made it impossible to sleep.

We stayed for the Fuji Rock festival, just a 10‑minute drive from the event and 25 minutes to town. Traveling with a one‑year‑old was a bit tricky, but the staff were very welcoming, which meant a lot. The common area had a fridge, freezer, and a small stove, so we could cook simple meals for the little one. The shared bathroom was clean and pleasant, and the free onsen ticket was a huge plus. Nothing else to add – we had a great time.

It was my first time at Fuji Rock, so I used the hotel for the first time. The front desk staff were helpful, even when I called to ask for directions from Naeba to the hotel. I stayed in a women‑only dormitory, and the bed was clean and comfortable. The flexible 10:00 checkout was a relief, letting me leave at my own pace. The shower room, toilet, and washbasin were stylish and spotless. I didn’t use the food, but the curry looked tasty. The only issue was that when I arrived around 22:30, the sliding door at the entrance was a bit stiff and wouldn’t open; I thought I’d need to enter a lock‑code, so I panicked looking for a keypad, but a guest in the lobby opened it for me. Turns out the code was for the room door, not the entrance.
