We cancelled the booking upon arrival because the accommodation was not suitable for a wheelchair. It is marked as accessible for people with reduced mobility but still not functional. I was upset because I had warned that my husband was in a wheelchair and was told it was okay, yet when we arrived it was clear it was not at all suitable. Thankfully the owner refunded me immediately.

The owner was very friendly and took great care of us. The property is huge and over 200 years old. In the lower part of the garden there's a pond and animals—goats, sheep, chickens, cats—that delighted our children. The beds were very comfortable and breakfast was delicious, featuring homemade jam, fresh juice, and fruit straight from the garden. We really enjoyed it. The only issue was a smell that, as noted, is only present in the lower lounge area and not in the bedrooms; it smells like the wine cellar and the fireplace, which is understandable given the age of the building.

Nothing to say—we left right away without staying. There were no private parking spaces as described. The street was very narrow, the curbs high, and it seemed unsafe to leave a car with luggage in the tight public road. The property looked run-down from the outside, with broken shutters, a neglected appearance, and not like the pictures we had seen. No one was on site, there was no bell or sign where we could have checked in. Because we couldn't imagine staying there, we left. When we wrote to cancel, the host replied very unfriendly.
