“Atendimento de Maria faz toda diferençq!”
The Morro do Pico lodge hit all my expectations: excellent spot, comfy beds, a dream shower with hot water, and Maria’s breakfast service was the highlight. With just five rooms, the breakfast is part of the experience, and she treats each guest individually, making cuscuz or tapioca exactly how you want it. She’s cheerful, human, and always ready to help, making our week feel like pure bliss. On the downside, some guesthouses arrange transfers with local operators and share tour info, but this place, being intimate, could have offered such a partnership, especially for airport arrivals where we were left clueless until we learned one operator had a transfer. We weren’t informed ahead of time.
