“A very nice redone relaxing hotel”
We moved from Illinois to Michigan and for the first time needed a hotel to return for a family event. We loved relaxing on the balcony for some quiet time before bed.

I booked a single night and paid ahead, yet the staff insisted they never received my payment even though my bank shows the deduction. In the end I was charged three times: once at check‑in, once at check‑out, and a third time for an unclear reason. The room itself was fine, but the hotel stole $524 from me for a $166.84 stay, so I won’t book there again and will pursue the issue.

I spent just one night here, mostly sleeping, which matched what a Courtyard in the suburbs should offer for the price. I chose this place as a cheaper alternative while attending a wedding at the Marriott Lincolnshire Resort, hoping it would be closer, but the walk was a 10‑minute stroll along a wide street without sidewalks, making it less convenient than I expected. The cost wasn’t much lower, so I should have stayed at the resort instead.

The lobby lounge and bar were pleasant, and the staff were extremely friendly. The only downside was the slow toilet that never seemed to empty properly.

I had a truly exceptional experience at this hotel, thanks to the incredibly friendly staff and the stunning facilities. The beautiful surroundings were a perfect complement to the warm hospitality I received during my stay.
