I was thrilled with everything except the check‑in process; there’s no front desk on site, so you have to call ahead and wait for someone to open the door, which I did, but I still had to stand at the entrance for a while. The rest was fantastic.

The place is centrally located, the bed is comfortable, and the balcony is nice, but the bathroom was extremely dirty and they never cleaned it during our four‑day stay.

The location was good and the shared bathroom was clean most of the time. The staff’s attitude was disrespectful, except for one person whose name I can’t remember. The room sheets were dirty and torn, and there was a lot of dust under the bed. The cleaner was angry all the time and yelled at us for supposedly making a mess when we literally didn’t have time to do anything. We were 10 minutes late for check‑in because of our bus from Porto (an 8‑hour drive), and the guy charged us an extra 20 € for late check‑in (the policy says 35 € if you arrive after 20:00). When we left, I put my luggage in the common area because we had two floors to claim and I was ready before my partner, and I received an angry text telling me to move it – instead of realizing we were about to leave, they chose to send this angry message.

Very central, absolutely top location! None of the photos on Booking matched our room. It looked roughly the same but had some differences, so the room wasn’t as pretty as online.

The establishment is dirty. The doors are blackened with grime. The kitchen is poorly supplied, the furniture sticks and the handles are rough. The bathroom has mold and is no longer young.
