Van was spotless and had everything you could need, but the location was a nightmare. The picture online makes it look tucked away in trees, yet it’s actually wedged between the last unit and a back fence with a 24/7 McDonald’s drive‑through on the other side. Noise from the drive‑through customers and the constant hum of the business fridge and extractor fans kept me up all night.

This caravan is a solid choice for an overnight stay in Emerald. The spot is quiet, with off‑street parking, and the bed is super comfy. The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of utensils, so you can cook up a storm.

Nothing to like. The key security box was impossible to use – the pin was so low it was hard to read. No antenna cable meant no TV, and the LED lights over the bed and table were dead. The entry step was cracked and too small, a real safety hazard. The site office was closed all day, so we had to call the owner for help. The town tourist info centre wouldn’t give directions or print anything. Hot water was barely enough for one person, then you had to wait 3‑4 hours for it to heat up again.

The bed was comfortable and the caravan was clean, but a few things were off. I had to use a light to see the key lock, and the small plastic step was a bit dangerous – it slipped on the gravel. The bed lamps were loose and didn’t work. After we left, we got an email telling us where to leave the rubbish.
