Casa das Tertúlias is a gem; the renovation is very tasteful and refined, the house is very comfortable and peaceful even though it’s in the city center. The only downside is that the parking agreement in town, which is convenient, was full all weekend, so we couldn’t use it whenever we needed.

The décor and atmosphere are great, nothing to add.

The location is very central and the staff were flexible with check‑in and check‑out times. I didn’t realize it was a room; when we arrived at Casa das Tertúlias we were a bit shocked to find it was just a room in a shared house, actually a hostel. The walk to get there is awful – cars block the way, we spent an hour going in circles with GPS.
