The level of luxury here is exceptionally rare—nothing is left to chance. The place feels beautifully curated, with a blend of elegant spaces that, after a few hours, reveal a meticulous attention to detail. Le Lappe was exactly that for us. It wasn’t just a comfortable stay; it was an experience where care, taste, and detail are evident from the obvious to the almost unnoticed. The recently renovated building respected its original character; nothing feels removed for the sake of the new. Instead, everything seems to have been restored and enhanced. Hand‑painted walls, antique furniture from the 18th century, real fireplaces in the rooms, arches, and carefully chosen materials create a rare elegance. Behind the project are Remy Renzullo and architect Niccolò Calabrese de Feo; knowing this adds to the coherence, but the most beautiful part is that we sensed this quality spontaneously while living in the spaces. What won us over most was that the attention didn’t stop at interior design—it shows in the faucets, switch plates, towel and bathrobe selection, bed linens, yarns, pure linen tablecloths, Ortigia cosmetics, and room fragrances. Individually these might seem like details, but together they make a huge difference. The quality remains high wherever you look or touch. We were lucky to visit some other rooms, which made us appreciate the work even more.
The staff were genuinely kind, especially Laura, who was attentive to every request.
“Perfezionabile ma molto bello”
The room is beautiful; this is my second visit and it’s always lovely. The setting is immersed in nature and truly relaxing. The restaurant is also commendable. Unfortunately, during this stay the room was infested with bedbugs (something that didn’t happen during my 2020 visit). The restaurant service was a bit slow, especially breakfast; we needed to leave early and the breakfast slowed us down a bit.
“Le Lappe made our stay a memorable one during our first weekend as a married couple!”
The attention to detail—from the furniture selection to the food and drinks—is outstanding. The road to get there isn’t the easiest or best maintained (though that’s not part of the property, which was great). Don’t drive a sports car there.
The location is very welcoming, the staff are friendly, polite, and cordial, and the room is clean—perfect for a relaxing weekend.
