We had an amazing stay. The place is clean, spacious and comfortable with a beautiful view. We were initially worried about there not being a fan, but we found the room had a nice breeze, and didn't get too hot. The location is excellent for a cosy mountain getaway, while being a short drive away from Funchal and some of the popular hikes. I'd recommend hiring a car, as there aren't too many places within walking distance. The hosts are incredibly friendly and welcoming, offering recommendations and answering questions, while also respecting our privacy. They also have 3 adorable cats. I could not recommend this place more!

The accommodation, up high, was a real cocoon for us. The view is very beautiful. The hosts are very welcoming and give great advice. The location for moving around the island is top.

The setting . in the middle and in the heights of the village, in the banana fields. the establishment is very clean . a little extra for the garden and the welcome of a cute little cat. A drawback was finding the place . the GPS was a bit quirky . a small minus for the shower . the shared toilet was a bit less convenient. but we got used to it . never received the gate code .??

Very nice hosts, a beautiful view from the small terrace with morning sun and a nice little apartment. Everything was very clean and well equipped. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking.
