Breakfast turned into a little social hour, chatting with other guests.
The room was comfortable, the bathroom roomy, and everything stayed clean.
We squeezed in a couple of days of sightseeing, including the Cable Station Museum, and had several eateries nearby, even a decent Chinese place within walking distance.
From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a warm smile and looked after all through our stay.

“a wonderful heritage home with friendly hosts”
Loved just about everything, but it was too warm and had too much furniture in the room.

We enjoyed the charm of the heritage house and its nick knacks. We also enjoyed the home‑cooked breakfast. The hosts were super friendly and inviting, also very knowledgeable about the area.

The breakfast and coffee were tasty, the bed was super comfy and the shower worked great. My only letdown was that the room was advertised as having a sea view, but the tall trees on the opposite street blocked the view entirely.
