We were warmly welcomed by the couple, the clean centrally‑located hotel offered a lovely view of the flower‑filled square, nearby restaurants, a tidy room without air‑conditioning but with a fan, and the host helped us plan a custom jungle tour to Manu National Park, which we truly enjoyed in the beautiful surroundings.

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was marred by a series of issues. We arrived in the late afternoon, only to find the establishment closed, and were told to wait until the manager returned at 10 PM. The temporary room provided by a neighbor was woefully unprepared, with no toilet paper, towels, or bedding. The sheets were stained and infested with bed bugs, and it wasn't until the manager arrived at 11 PM that we were given a new room.

While I appreciated the comfortable beds and ample parking, my stay was largely disappointing. The shower was cold, the curtain was torn, and the overall cleanliness was subpar. The TV didn't work, and there was no air conditioning, despite it being advertised. The dirty windows, unstaffed reception, and neglected garden only added to the disappointment.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel, nestled in stunning natural surroundings that made exploring Manu National Park a breeze. The owner went above and beyond to ensure my trip was unforgettable, even organizing an exciting jungle adventure that I'll always treasure. The location and hospitality truly made my experience special.

I enjoyed my stay at this comfortable hotel in the charming town of Pilcopata. The staff were incredibly helpful, served delicious food, and made it easy for me to arrange a Manu tour with Cecilio from Puma Tours. Overall, it was a pleasant and convenient stay.
