The location near Omonia was a good choice because it’s easy to reach by the blue metro line, but they could have installed some air‑conditioning units; the traditional fans were still blowing.

Nothing good to say. The photos were misleading: the room had no air‑conditioning even though the listing claimed it did. The mattress was covered in unknown stains, there were poop marks on the towel, and a cigarette hole in the mattress. The shower and common areas were unclean, with feces and urine in the toilets, and the shower had black stagnant water at the bottom—see the photo below. I asked for a refund, but they offered to charge me an extra €20 for a new room. I refused, and the staff told me the refund would be processed through Booking because they couldn’t do it themselves, yet the Booking refund never arrived even after 5 days. They then violently demanded that my pregnant girlfriend and I leave the hotel.

I really appreciated how the gentleman at reception was very courteous when I arrived early Friday morning due to a weather‑related flight delay; he was kind at the front desk, and when I asked for a glass, a spoon, sugar, and coffee, I thanked him and checked in without any issues, so I went straight to bed because I was exhausted and weary from the overnight journey. The bed was very soft, and I slept soundly; the mattress and pillow were also very comfortable, and the room was lovely with a nice view, which I liked a lot. The only thing I didn’t like was that outside, while I was almost sleeping all night, people were shouting on the street; inside the hotel and in the double rooms it was very quiet.
