The place was very clean and spacious. The pet fee was excessively high at 50.-€ per dog. There were only 3 parking spots. No breakfast buffet. The coffee machine in the hallway was broken.

Checking in through the key safe was smooth, the room was nothing special but acceptable, clean and a pleasant size. We didn’t use breakfast – it was probably somewhere in the basement. There’s a little reception in a niche, so it’s likely staffed at times. It seems the building was originally a residential house that was repurposed. Parking is scarce and you might have to look for it (typical residential area). Occasionally the house was a bit noisy – still within limits, probably because of small children. A colleague complained more and also about a grumbling heater in his room. It was a bit unpleasant that the previous tenant’s bill was still in the room (privacy issue) and you almost feared it wasn’t cleaned. It was interesting to see that the prices were almost exactly double the usual ones because there was a fair, even though we weren’t there. That explains the poor value for money in our case.

Good location relative to the Messe, well equipped and very quiet. Spacious rooms and bathroom. Breakfast at Der Beck is excellent and cheap, but not everyone will like having to walk 5 minutes outside instead of having it in the hotel itself. Cleanliness was overall ok, but dust on the shelf in the closet is unnecessary and having more than 3 hangers in the closet should be expected.

Large and attractive rooms, even with a kitchenette. Unfortunately there was no breakfast in the accommodation; we had to walk about 10 minutes to a crowded bakery.
