The hotel itself is gorgeous – everything looks polished and welcoming. The only hiccup was the restaurant, which was shut down because they couldn't find a chef. A bit of a staffing issue there.

There was no restaurant on site, so you had to find food elsewhere. The spa closed at 7 p.m., which felt a bit early for me – it would’ve been nice if it stayed open until 9.

The bus stop is right next to the hotel, running every 30 minutes, and the ride to the Meierhof Obersaxen station takes about 12 minutes. Free covered parking is a plus. The wellness area is pretty nice, and they let you tweak the hours if you want. There’s a cozy lounge with a fireplace, and the staff are friendly and helpful. If you’re lucky with the snow, experienced skiers can drive straight from the Wali station to the hotel – no marked or secured runs, though.

The wellness area is really nice, and the bar feels cozy. Breakfast is excellent, and the staff are super friendly.

The lobby is clean and pretty, and the breakfast is great. The only issue was that the room was a bit too warm for my liking.
