We were treated very well and the breakfast was excellent, giving us a good overall experience, yet the room we ended up in was on the opposite side of the lodge; the photos in the booking only showed rooms in the main area, so it would be helpful to clarify that some rooms are located elsewhere so guests know exactly what they’re reserving.

The whole staff at the lodge were very attentive and made sure we were welcomed warmly, but the listing didn’t clearly state that we would be staying in two external rooms, each with a door opening directly onto the street, meaning we had to cross the street to get to the lodge and grab breakfast, which felt awkward and uncomfortable, especially on rainy days.
