Hotel Borgo Vistalago

The staff were excellent, welcoming, and spoke fluent English, which helped me with my limited Italian. Thanks a lot to Lucrezia, you’re phenomenal. The location is great, breakfast is good, and my room was huge (see the pics). The room was very clean, the bathroom had been recently renovated and looks stylish. I’d have liked to stay longer. The beds were the best during my two‑week trip in Italy, where I stayed in eight different places. The room spans two floors, so it might not be convenient for people with disabilities, but a small wooden gate upstairs keeps small children from wandering up the stairs—smart idea!

“Adorable boutique hotel”

A cute boutique hotel with lovely lake views and courteous staff. The converted old building has a lot of charm. Because it’s an old building, it can be a bit noisy, especially the rooms over the street, which also have the lake views.

“Ideal location!”

We enjoyed a beautiful lake view from an adorable two‑level apartment. For breakfast, we filled plates and carried them across the little road to a patio right on the lake’s boardwalk. The staff were extremely helpful with parking—if we found parking on that main drag, they would validate it, and we did! One of my favorite towns because of the hospitality!
