Located near Interlaken-West train station, the Boutique Hotel Bellevue offers a serene riverside setting amidst the city's central hub. Each room features a private balcony with breathtaking views of the Aare River and surrounding mountains. Guests enjoy proximity to various restaurants, shops, and a jewelry and watches store, making it an ideal base for exploring Interlaken.

The Bellevue works well as a base for exploring the area, just a 10‑minute walk to Interlaken West and 20 minutes to Interlaken Ost; the rooms are clean and spacious, ours had a lake view and balcony, and breakfast offered a wide selection of good food. The on‑site car park is handy, though it costs 20 CHF per day. The hotel feels characterless, and while one or two staff members were friendly and helpful, the rest largely ignored guests.

The location was the only good thing; the bed was uncomfortable, the pillows were bad, the bathroom had a bad smell, there was no luggage‑carry service in or out of the room, and the rent was overpriced for the service and facilities.

The location was great with a stunning view, the staff were good, and breakfast was very ordinary. The bed was completely uncomfortable.

The location and view were very beautiful, but I didn’t like that we smelled river air on the balcony, everyone was smoking behind the bar, and the drainage was problematic.
